SASKIA HAS BEEN TELLING STORIES FOR AS LONG AS SHE CAN REMEMBER, FROM TORCH-LIGHT FINGER PUPPETS AS A TODDLER, TO SKETCHBOOKS BRIMMING WITH CHARACTERS & COMICS AS A TEEN. A CHILDHOOD OF SINGING & DANCE CLASSES SPARKED HER LOVE FOR PERFORMANCE, AND THUS A LIFELONG OBSESSION WITH ENTERTAINMENT OF ALL FORMS.
Saskia STUDIED AT the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, COMPLETING a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Performance Making MAJOR) IN 2022. during her studies SHE WROTE, DIRECTED and PRODUCED her own JUKEBOX musicals ("tHE KARAOKE CLUB" AND "SUGAR & ICE") with her independent theatre company, Sugarglass Entertainment.
IN 2021, she TOOK OVER AS ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF The Australian Pop Academy, a contemporary youth choir BASED IN FREMANTLE. the school focuses on developing stage presence and confidence in young performers. Each year Saskia plans and manages the school's concerts, music video, and community performances.













In February 2023 Saskia completed a Directing Internship with Moulin Rouge! the Musical on the Perth leg of their Australian tour, gaining irreplaceable insight into the inner mechanics of producing professional theatre.
Saskia is currently employed FULL-TIME aS a funeral director, working with families to arrange and conduct heartfelt and personalised funeral services. She has come into this industry to continue exercising two core missions at this stage in her life, hearing stories from all different walks of life to inspire her artistic practice, and more importantly, providing support and care to people in the community who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives.
