Sugarglass Entertainment is a production company that was launched in July 2021 as an initiative to generate more performance and production opportunities for young up-and-coming artists in the Perth theatre scene. The company is committed to encouraging artistic endeavours in a respectful and supportive environment, generating opportunities, creating high-quality live entertainment and promoting performing arts in the Perth community.
In 2021, Sugarglass produced two major events. first was the inaugural 'lip sync battle at the Rosemount Hotel.' The show invited performers from all reaches of Perth's theatre scene to take the stage and compete in a lighthearted and energy-infused competition. The Lip Sync Battle raised funds for Sugarglass' following production for fringe world 2022, jukebox musical 'sugar & Ice.'
In 2023, the company branched out from its foundations in the theatre community to produce its first short-film, 'Milktooth.'
